摘要
A new cage-rotor induction motor with end rings divided into mine sections is presented to increase the rotor impedance by using the ordinary conductive material. The method of splitting rotor end rings can alto be used in pole-changing motors, in which there is such different rotor impedance for different pole numbers that the starting or pole-changing switching current may come down and the torque may come up. An example with 10/40 poles is given.
