On experimental study of natural oscillations of the shells of revolution with fluid with allowance for additional masses

摘要
It has been established that the effect of rigidly added masses on the values of natural oscillation frequencies is rather higher than the level of shells filling with fluid. It is shown the resonance oscillations of the shells can be excited using the 'wind' load acting on the thin plate rigidly joined to the shell with added mass. The air flow created with the help of a fan was directed perpendicularly to a thin plate mode of the titanium alloy OT4-1. The plate had dimensions 12×12 cm and thickness 0.03 cm. Its mass jointly with fasteners was equal to 0.038 kg.
