摘要
In this paper, we describe a building information modeling (BIM) system implemented to design a two-by-four construction system. In a BIM system, a machining method for processing lumber parts is described using a computer programming language, and the parts' data are managed by a relational database management system. We examined parts processing using a five-axis CNC machine designed by us; furthermore, we confirmed that the BIM system can control the operation of a five-axis CNC machine with high accuracy.
