Tactical communications are military communications in which information, especially orders and military intelligence, is transmitted from one command, person, or place on the battlefield to another, particularly during combat. It includes any type of information delivery, whether verbal, written, visual, or auditory, and can be sent in various forms. © 1988-2012 IEEE.
