摘要
To cater to the needs of air transportation, different wings for varying flight regimes for subsonic and supersonic were developed. However, the use of a particular wing is limited to only for a specific regime. Present work attempts to establish a relation between aerodynamic and electromagnetic energies associated with a wing. The understanding of aerodynamic and electromagnetic as a whole will lead to the idea of developing an autonomous wing. Experimental study was conducted on an unsymmetrical wing (with airfoil NACA 25115) with electric current flowing over its surface. The novelty of the work is that the results will be used for designing a wing that adjusts itself according to the flow conditions, eliminating the need for different wing for different flight regimes and flow conditions. © 2021.
