This work is devoted to the synthesis and spectral characterization of 1-[7- (4-nitrobenzoyl)-3-(biphenyl-4-yl)pyrrolo[1,2-c]pyrimidin-5-yl]ethanone. The investigations were performed by absorbance and fluorescence. Following spectrophotometric analysis the molar extinction coefficient, quantum yieldand Stokes shiftshave been calculated.
