An evaluation method of travel time tomography with incomplete data on elastic wave

The data of elastic wave tomography is usually incomplete in seismic and explosive field owing to the insufficient driving sources and detectors. A method of generalized inversion based on prior information is proposed to computerized tomography with incomplete data on elastic wave. The influence factors related to tomography result (including mesh generation, the number of detectors and sampling points, detectors and rays distribution) are put forward. According to these influence factors the inversion error factor is defined to evaluate results of incomplete data tomography and guides the outdoor survey. © 2013 Binary Information Press.
