摘要
Every day there is an increase in the number of non-communicable diseases in different population sectors of Latin America, aspects that lead to dissimilar deaths per year, which has made these an important line of research in the scientifi c community. That is why during the training of professionals in the medical sciences these are an important unit of knowledge. However, it is still required to use neutrosophic tools to identify the level of knowledge of university students about them. That is why the objective of this research is oriented towards applying a Neutrosophic Linguistic Scale for the self-assessment of knowledge about non-communicable diseases in medical students. During the study, theoretical, empirical, and mathematicalstatistical methods were used. The results obtained make evident the need to change the teaching approach of these in the investigated field. © 2022, Neutrosophic Sets and Systems. All Rights Reserved.
