摘要
A twin wire sheet former that can simulate industrial sheet forming conditions in a laboratory has been developed. The sheet former consists of three units, namely, the headbox section, the drainage section, and the sheet collection section. An experiment was conducted that involves bringing all these sections to their operating speed individually. Plots of the suspension accuracy against machine direction for four separate but identical experiments showed that the consistency profiles practically overlap.
