The UK's paper recycling capacity has been increased by 30% with the final conversion of the Shotton paper mill in North Wales to producing newsprint from 100% recycled fiber. The mill's new deinking plant increases Shotton's recycling capacity to more than 700,000 mtpy of recovered paper.
