摘要
The orthogonal genetic algorithm that combines genetic algorithm (GA) with orthogonal design was presented. Interval level is determined by orthogonal design, and GA is performed in the interval level. The Orthogonal Design can find an interval level that contains the best solution, GA is performed again in the interval level which is determined again by orthogonal design, and so on. The interval level gets smaller and smaller and it becomes a point at last. The point is expected to be the optimal point of interval levels. It was proved that GA is able to converge to the global optimum. Computer simulation is performed.
