Control of the flexible drive on rotating impact motion

The rigid drive of rotating machinery is replaced by the flexible drive. The relationship between the motion of rotating the system and the parameters of flexible jointer is established. From the calculation and analysis of the torsional response of the flexible jointer and the revolving shock response of the rotating system, it is found that the shock angular acceleration of rotating system reduces along with the enlarging of the flexible jointer damping or the decreasing of the flexible jointer stiffness. Therefore, when other parameters of rotating system are unchangeable, adjusting the torsional stiffness and the damping of the flexible jointer can take control of the shock motion of the rotating system.
