摘要
As the scale of distributed interactive simulation systems is increasing rapidly, the DIS faces the problem of system scalability. The main factor that influences system scalability is limited resources. Some technologies can be used to improve system scalability. This paper first proposes a mathematical model of system scalability based on the thorough studies of the reasons that cause the scalability problem, and then analyses the advantages and disadvantages of several classic technology measures. The model is very useful for the design of distributed simulation systems.
