摘要：

The welcome of the final rule clarifying the definition of 'routine maintenance', by the petrochemicals industry is discussed. The move is expected to boost US energy supplies and also improve the US energy infrastructure. The new rule clarifies what types of activities are exempted from the requirements of the Clean Air Act's NSR program.
