Today, customers are looking for an affordable paper that is coated on both sides, but feels like an uncoated grade. It must also exhibit equivalent printability characteristics in ink-jet printers and other print processes. Addressing these concerns, Cerestar developed a new starch which enables papermakers to develop cost-effective paper grades for high quality ink-jet printing.
