摘要
A review on the fast switchable devices based on ferroelectric liquid crystals was presented. The device consists of two polarization prisms, four right angle prisms and halfwave FLC cell operating in the surface stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal cells (SSFLC) mode. The response time of the FLC layer was found to be about 10 microseconds.
