New technologies to meet new demands

Technological process of foundry production includes manufacturing the mold from PGS and core from sand with the water glass-based binder. An analysis of sand preparation technologies showed that the cold-hardening sands are optimum ones. Half molds and large cores are produced by using α-set-process. The small cores are manufactured by β-set-process. The castings produced in the molds on the basis of cold-hardening sands have more clean surface and better geometry. The parts of high-alloy steels such as 12Kh18N10T, 07Kh16N6, 06KhN28MDT kinds are produced for chemical and food industries.
