The Stora Enso's EUR500m investment at Langerbrugge in Belgium is on schedule. The forest products group is building a newsprint line, power plant and deinking plant at the site and is scheduled to startup in June 2003. The Lagerbrugge's papermaking machinery (PM)4 on completion would be one of the world's largest newsprint machine with a capacity of 400,000 tpy. The Stora Enso also plans to convert PM3 at Langerbrugge from newsprint to supercalendered (SC) paper.
