摘要
Polyacrylonitrile(PAN) is an important material for carbon fibers. High quality precursor may be produced using high quality PAN and is necessary condition for preparing carbon fibers. Precursor and its carbon fiber properties were influenced by PAN microstructure (such as molecular weight and distribution, tacticity, comonomer unit ratio and distribution along molecular chain) while PAN microstructure influenced the quality of PAN. The latent defect in molecular chain microstructure of PAN influences the properties of PAN precursor and it's carbon fiber. The measures and methods for enhancing performance of polyacryonitrile-based carbon were discussed from the adjustment of the molecular chain microstructure of polyacrylonitrile.
