摘要
This article describes the prototypical development and evaluation of a new navigation system, which specifically addresses the needs of blind and visually impaired pedestrians. In particular, a detailed description of the route and the inclusion of public transportation were considered. Main objective of the development is a route-based navigation system that can be used throughout Germany. © 2014 Walter de Gruyter GmbH. All rights reserved.
