摘要
The Greek Government, the Athens Olympic Organizing Committee and the International Community pay particular attention to the security provided by transport operators during the Summer Olympic Games of August 2004. The security plans were developed based on an extended variety of security threats on installations and transport means, estimation of vulnerability levels and possible impacts. All transport operators, members of the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) group of companies, have put extensive efforts to improve their security systems. Company personnel are trained to face emergency situations in cooperation with personnel of the new Traffic Control Center.
