摘要
Numerical simulations of bulk granular flow down an inclined plane, the so-called chute flow in two and three dimensions were carried out. Focus was on rough bottom surfaces for which the behavior is simpler. The simulations allowed to investigate more subtle aspects of chute flow. In addition, it was possible to look for surface and bulk instabilities to flow at the angle of repose.
