摘要
A theoretical analysis of the process of determining the impact strength under double-support impact bending (the Charpy notched impact strength) was carried out and, on this basis, analytical dependences of impact strength on the elastic modulus, the parameters of the relaxation mobility, the temperature and the content of reinforcing fillers were proposed. The results of experiments with a range of thermoplastics and glass fibre-reinforced composites are presented and discussed and confirm the correctness of the proposed methods for calculating impact strength. © 2017 Smithers Information Ltd.
