摘要
In 1950s and 1960s, high-power machines were created. Gas turbine plant with power of 1,000 kW was developed. In 1970s, gas turbine plants with power of 100 MW were operated. Gas turbine plant with power of 180 MW is currently developed. In 1970s, hydraulic turbine with power of 735 MW was installed at hydroelectric power plant. Power-generating units with power of 1,000 and 1,500 MW were developed for nuclear power plants. Reconstruction of old works was performed. Several new works were constructed. New institute for nuclear machine building was created. Steam turbines made in Russian Federation are operated in many foreign countries.
