Preparation of the ultramicroporous carbon fiber from Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons

摘要
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon-based continuous fiber was prepared by melt spinning using polynaphthalene derivatives as precursors. Then, ultramicroporous carbon fiber was prepared by infusible treatment with CH3NO2/FeCl3, 3 NO 2 /FeCl 3 , hypercross-linking treatment with dimethoxymethane, and carbonization at 850 degrees C. The resulting carbon fiber has a specific surface area of 410.00 m2 center dot g(-2) center dot g(-1) with a narrow pore distribution at about 0.42 nm and shows good gas adsorption performance. Its CO2 2 adsorption capacity is 3.25 mmol center dot g(-1) at 273.15 K/1.0 bar and H2 2 adsorption capacity at 77.3 K/1.0 bar is 5.45 mmol center dot g(-1).
