Flac3d numerical simulation of tension-dispersive anchor cable

Based on the geological condition of some engineering project, anchor-pile supporting structure pit foundation excavation is simulated by virtue of the flac3d program and the tension dispersive anchor cable is focused on in this paper. The tension dispersive anchor cable's simulation method and distribution rule of the shear stress between the anchor body and the soil body, and the shear stress peak value are studied; and compared with the tension-concentrated anchor cable under the certain pre-stressed load. The results show the shear stress peak value of the tension concentrated anchor cable is about 1.5 times of the tension-dispersive anchor cable in this project. Moreover, some factors, affecting distribution of the shear stress, are discussed in this paper. © 2014 ejge.
