摘要
Bridge structural health monitoring is the process of implementing intact detection on the bridge structure, which makes use of wireless sensor network to make real time online monitoring so that it can better support the bridge quality maintenance and bridge fault prediction. This paper first introduces the objective and motivation of bridge structural health monitoring, and systematically illustrates the composite and characteristics of this system. Based on the analysis and discussion about the wireless sensor network oriented monitoring system, it proposes a holistic design, multiple modular designs, and further a bridge monitoring architecture through ZigBee.
