Optimal PMU placement of the power system using quantum genetic algorithm

摘要
The method of the judgement of direct solvable power flow is proposed based on the configuration of the power system. The optimal PUM placement is realized based on quantum genetic algorithm, and a punish function method is introduced to deal with some specific constraints. The validity and flexibility of the proposed algorithm are tested with IEEE 14-bus, IEEE 30-bus, IEEE 57-bus and IEEE 118-bus power system. The results show that the less amount of PMU is needed to realize direct solvable power flow.
