It is very important to evaluate technical state of coke oven batteries in order to predict their productivity and quality of manufactured coke. Experience in operation of coke oven batteries makes it possible to develop new technologies for their maintenance. In case of the efficient maintenance, rational planning of coke manufacture is provided. Example of planning the coke manufacture has been presented. Modern methods of maintenance have been described. Efficient heating of coke oven battery has been determined. Design of the coke oven battery has been improved. It has been shown that stable quality of coal charge materials should be provided.
