Determination and correlation of the phase equilibrium of terephthalic acid, water and acetic acid ternary system

At one temperature point, terephthalic acid, water and acetic acid formed solid-liquid phase equilibrium, the solution became saturated, the quantity of solution in the solvent was solubility. Terephthalic acid was measured by quantitative analysis, that is, to titrate the solute in saturated solution by means of a standard sodium hydroxide solution. Meanwhile, a thermodynamic model activity coefficient was used to correlate the solubility data, the average relative deviation was 7% to approximately 16%, and the results were satisfactory.
