Last year's publications in the field of welding technology and allied processes are evaluated and resulting findings with regard to the development of individual specialist fields are obtained. This literature investigation provides important information without wanting to make any claim of being absolutely complete. The thematic classification in sub-fields (Parts 1 and 2 in the May and June issues of Schweißen & Schneiden and Part 3 below) makes it easier to find special information.
