摘要
Bit and power allocation in adaptive orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is a crucial technique to improve spectral efficiency. According to the concept and principles of quantum computing, multi-ary quantum evolutionary algorithm (MQEA) is proposed to solve bit and power allocation problem, which maximize the total data rate of the system over the low voltage distribution network with a total power and bit-error rate(BER) constraints. In the MQEA, multi-ary integer code in solution space are inversely mapped into real chromosome code, complementary mutation operator is adopted to realize the balance between exploration and exploitation. Simulation results in the environment of the low voltage distribution network show that the allocation results of the proposed algorithm is the same as that of bit adding algorithm, reducing calculation time, the savable power in MQEA algorithm is 6~16 dBm comparing with the water-filling algorithm at the same transmission rate. © 2010 Chin.
