Induction motor model to reflect dynamic mechanisms of synthetic load

Induction motor (IM) dynamic load model (IM_DLM) fails to describe behaviors of synthetic load in electric power system because it cannot capture the characteristics of reactive power. LSVC_IM_DLM, which is an enhancement of IM_DLM by introducing a static description of reactive power (LSVC), is proposed in this paper. The rationality of the new model is analyzed by comparison of the identification results from different classes of loads. The results verify that the LSVC_IM_DLM dan capture the reactive power characteristics of load very well, and reflect the physical mechanism of synthetic load dynamics. Therefore its is a model of great practical significance.
