Various aspects of tech support provided by software and hardware vendors are discussed. It is found that the Symantec site features a browser-based utility that warn about the status of virus profiles. It is observed that Microsoft's online support site is dominated by the company's Knowledge Base. Adobe's Acrobat support page is found to be search driven and visitors can get help by accessing the product's user forum.
