摘要：
The activities of the Matsunami Glass Industry Co Ltd. in the application of thin films glass in field of electronics is discussed. The role played by plasma displays in large-sized flat panel displays and televisions is discussed. Resistive pressure touch panels are being widely used in various information devices. Developments in liquid crystal displays (LCD) are discussed.
