摘要
According to the fall of distributing boom operated on the concrete pump, the failure is analyzed. It demonstrated that crutch caused the failure of distributing boom. The material of the crutch is low-carbon alloy steels with good intensity, toughness and hardening tendency. The failure of crutch is caused by fatigue fracture on welded joints. The direct reason of the fatigue fracture is the weld root crack. The welder operation had serious irregularities. Analysis show that the design regarding strength weld as connective weld is the root of failure.
