摘要
In 2000, the gross domestic product of Germany increased by 3 percent comparing to the GDP of the previous year. This made it possible to maintain the stable level of growth in the German pulp and paper industry. Statistical data are presented and analyzed for production, import, export and consumption of paper and paperboard, writing, printing and newsprint papers, fine papers, total pulp and waste paper. In 2000, production of paper and paperboard reached 18.2 million tons, an 8.6% increase comparing to 1999.
