Influence of technological parameters on quality of the cast billets of two-layer high-chromium rolls

摘要
It is shown that the most progressive casting method of two-layer rolls with the working layer from high-chromium iron is the centrifugal one. The working layer of a given thickness and hardness can be obtained by regulation of the main technological parameters. The experimental correlation dependence shows that rolls hardness increases in both temperature reduction of working layer metal casting and decrease of the thermoinsulation coating thickness.
