Actualmente; la Asociación Nacional de Criadores y Propietarios de Caballos Pe-ruanos de Paso; tiene la posibilidad de expor-tar sus caballos a países de la Unión Euro-pea; pero siempre que el país esté libre de estas enfermedades. Esta razón motivó la rea-lización del presente estudio cuyo objetivo fue determinar la presencia de anticuerpos con- tra T. equiperdum y B. mallei en equinos; mediante la prueba de fijación del comple-mento y también de esta manera contribuir con el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agraria (SENASA) en lo referente al sistema de vi-gilancia epidemiológica de enfermedades exó-ticas para el Perú;
