Optimization of a self-regenerating suppressor for ion chromatography

摘要
Quantitation of anions by ion chromatography typically is accomplished using an ionic mobile phase and conductivity detection. To improve analyte response and to generate a lower background, the conductance of the eluent is reduced post-column. One such module is the microbore ASRS-Ultra which is evaluated with two different Dionex columns, each on a different ion chromatograph. This paper discusses the results and includes simple recommendations for maintaining equilibrium during shutdown.
