A sum of $10 million have been put in equity into Curtis Papers, Inc, by KPS Special Situations Fund, LP. Curtis Papers is the new company that KPS Fund created from the speciality paper and premium papers businesses of Crown Vantage. Four mills in the US and two in Scotland with a capacity of 200,000 tons are now included in Curtis Papers. Curtis Fine Papers' premium paper business includes a paper mill in Adams at Massachusets and a coating plant in Richmond at Vancouver.
