摘要
The application of additional thermal insulation to buildings with external walls of lightweight, no-fines concrete may in some cases, for structural reasons, require certain strengthening measures. This applies in particular to prefabricated housing in eastern Germany. Such measures, for example, can be achieved through cement injection. The application of such techniques is not unproblematic, however: in addition to the desired effect of greater strength, they may also lead to density increases and subsequent entry of moisture into previously dry structural components.
