International Scientific and Practical Seminar 'Mill Rollers and Conditions of their Operation. Improvement in Quality of Sheet Rolled Products' was held on May 22-25, 2001, in Lipetsk. The Seminar was organized by 'GP' company and 'NLMK' open-end joint stock company. Problems in production and operation of mill rollers have been considered. It has been shown that new developed rollers from high-speed steel of HSS grade are characterized by high service characteristics. They are manufactured by method of centrifugal casting. Special technology for heat treatment of the roller has been developed. Quality of rolled sheets has been improved.
