摘要
Compared with conventional hot rolling, warm rolling and cold rolling, cryorolling was an innovative technique. During cryorolling, the ultralow temperature suppressed the dislocation movement and dynamic recovery during deformation, thereby enhancing the grain-refinement, and enhancing both strength and ductility of metals and alloys. The progresses in development of high-performance metals and alloys by using cryorolling were introduced, including aluminium, copper, titanium, as well as metal laminated composites. Finally, prospects for the preparation of high-performance metal materials by using cryrolling in the future were also presented. © 2020, China Mechanical Engineering Magazine Office.
