Research on doubly-fed wind power generation with passivity-based control and active disturbance rejection control

From the point of view of energy, a high performance nonlinear method which combines the passivity-based control (PBC) method and the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method on doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) is put forward. The PBC model of DFIG is built, and the passivity of DFIG is proved. The current inner loop PBC controller is designed. Then the rotor control voltages are calculated. According to the ADRC theory, the ADRC speed outer loop regulator is designed with the given speed obtained from the maximal wind energy capture and real speed as the input signals, and the given electromagnet torque as the output signal. The maximal wind energy capture in the DFIG is effectively realized, meanwhile the speed and current of DFIG in stator and rotor are tracked accurately and fast. The independent regulation of the stator active power and reactive power is achieved. Meanwhile, the overshoots of the speed, the stator current, and the rotor current have been significantly reduced because of the reasonable transition process arrangement by ADRC regulator for the given speed according to the system. At the same time, the anti-interference ability of the system has been greatly improved because the disturbance of the system is estimated and compensated in real time by the ADRC regulator.
