摘要
In this paper we endeavor to explore the influence of thermal radiation on MHD 3D flow of a nanofluid over a linear shrinking sheet through a porous medium. With the help of similarity transformations, the governing non-linear partial differential equations have been converted into non-linear ordinary differential equations. The series solution of these reduced equations is obtained by using Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM). The non-dimensional velocity and temperature distributions have been presented graphically for various emerging parameters in connection with the problem. It is seen that increase in thermal radiation parameter enhances the fluid temperature and there by the associated thermal boundary layer thickness gets enlarged. Also the skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number for different pertinent parameters are depicted in tabular form. © 2016, AMSE Press. All rights reserved.
