The research project „DC-Industrie2“ deals with the implementation of DC voltage technology for the industrial sector, resulting in test installations at laboratory level and in the industrial environment. The paper presents and evaluates the results of measurements of different scenarios. In the first scenario, the DC microgrid is tested with and without battery storage, both with cold-working loads. In the second scenario, the measurements are repeated with and without battery storage, but with hot-working loads. The use of battery storage with droop control reduces the voltage fluctuations in the DC microgrid. © 2023, VDI Fachmedien GmBH & Co. KG. All rights reserved.
