摘要
During the last years, the activities and expenses to improve the safety of employees on underground sites have been increased substantially. As an integral part of health and safety systems, a functioning system to register the people, who are in the underground area, is essential. To set quickly emergency services for injured or buried persons, it is very important to know how many people are in the different tunnel areas. The faster rescue crews arrive at the scene, the better the likelihood of a successful operation. © 2010, Springer-Verlag.
