摘要
Short carbon fiber reinforced copper-graphite composite materials was studied based on advanced pantagraph slider as its application background. The short carbon fiber reinforced copper-graphite composites was fabricated with powder metallurgy technology. The effect of fiber content, arrangement and distribution on the impact strength of composites was discussed in detail. With the increase of short carbon fiber between 1.5%-11.5% volume fraction, the impact strength of composites would increase accordingly at first, then change to decrease. The arrangement and distribution of short carbon fiber also show great effect on the impact strength of composites. Carbon fiber is very effective in improving the impact strength of copper-graphite composites. The short carbon fiber reinforced copper-graphite composite can be used to produce pantagraph slider of high performance.
