Numerical simulation on supersonic combustion of methane

摘要
A flow field with a sonic methane jet injected transversely into a supersonic hot air flow was simulated. The model of six elementary reactions of the methane-oxygen system was verified by solving N-S equations using the Harten-Yee implicit TVD scheme. The effects of different boundary conditions and inlet conditions were studied and a contrast was made with the model of single-reaction of the methane-oxygen system.
